norwich belle
By Neil Cox

The Norwich Belle, built 1924, last sailed from Great Yarmouth 1981 down to London to become a floating resturant but later was found in Elat, Isreal so here are some pictures of her as a steamer and then a moter vessel

Dear Mr Cox, These are great pictures of the Norwich Belle. I have in the past tried to find any pictures /details of her in Elat, without success. In her final guise with the bridge extended out the the ship side I think she was one of the very best looking British pleasure boats. ( The only one that comes near is my Karina which we still operate on trips from Douglas Isle of Man, although Karina is quite a bit smaller). Presumably she sailed out to Egypt. I do have a picture of her laid up in a dock in London which I will find and try and post tomorrow. best regards Stephen Carter
