It was lovely to see this picture. My dad is Derrick Brown (top right). Lovely to see him with a full head of hair! His grandson has taken over the skating mantle and goes to Retro, just like his granddad. Lovely also to see Tony Taylor and dear Fred Brown, sadly missed.

Dear Amandal, Nice to see your comments. Now I know about Fred & Tony, as you say sadly missed. It's nice to know that Derek Brown's grand son is taking on our skating gift of roller hockey. There were some great stars in our day & your dad was one of them.

At last on last week the 13th of Oct at the old Priory school we had our second reunion & at that meeting I met two old school & roller skating mates the first was Peter Parker & my old roller hockey captain Tony Taylor & one item cleared up was Peter Parker followed me taking over the goal keepers gloves for the comets & not the other way around. We had quite nice chat hope now to see them next year
