Nutman Family (cont)

I Thought I'd add a photo of the late John Runniff Nutman (Jnr) who sold the business and premises in 1956 for the princely sum of £3,500 to Mr Swanson.

My Grandfather is the figure on the right of the photo, seen with his Brother, Basil Knox Nutman who was a Gynaecologist at Norwich Hospital until his retirement. Basil was one of the principal persons behind the move to have a crematorium outside Norwich. His name is to be seen on the iron entrance gates.

I suspect the photo was taken by a Street photographer on the Sea front.  It has captured an admirable composition of the two brothers in earnest discussion.

Hello,
This is Marie-Townley Scott. I was in the skating show with Heather and Elaine Nutman. I am hoping to get in touch with some of my old friends. I live in Texas now but am coming to Gt. Yarmouth for a visit in July 09. Please let me know if I may email you or make some other kind of contact.

Hello Marie,
I have sent Molly (Nutman) Yow a couple of emails but not heard back from her. I don't know if she made the trip to Yarmouth last month as planned. I hope she is OK. Have you read the other pages on the Nutmans as the names may ring a bell with you? I'm only a youngster of 62 and left Yarmouth in the Fifties for Essex. Went back regularly for holidays and could never understand (but marvelled) at the Gala Girls who swam in the Sea front Pool - Never known a pool so cold, I shivered to death being skin and bone!
