I have a lot of happy memories of The Waterways as a child ,as my dad , mum , aunts , gran etc (all the family) used to go there every year or two from about 1969 till 1980. My gran ran a bus down from Scotland (and every time they ran the bus , it was full ).

I took my own family down 5 years ago for the first time and I was sad to see that the boats on the waterways were gone and how much the town had changed.

But the boys still loved it and I will allways have my memories and my old pics.
