Yarmouth to Gorleston ferry service

Some photographs   of the   ss Yarmouth and gorleston both double ended steamers
This means they have a propeller at bow and stern so no need to turn around
The Yarmouth ended her days being scrapped in London saint Katherine's dock
The gorleston was scrapped after spending the last of her days on the river Trent
In Nottingham, you can tell the difference between the two steamers was the companionways
This can be seen in the photographs' below

A similar ship (perhaps one of these ?) was laid up near Brundall at around early 1970, I remember going there to have a look. I travelled on a BR 14 day all UK rover ticket bought in Holland for about 10 (ten) pounds. Those were the days ....
