I am intrigued by this photo. My Grandfather - William James Lark (b.1871) and Great Grandfather also William James Lark (b.1848) were both fishermen in Gt Yarmouth, living in Row 139. I am wondering if one of them appears on this photo. My Grandfather was supposedly blown up on his vessel in the first WW.

I too am intrigued by this photograph as my ancestors were fishermen with the G.Y. fleet and lived in Blackwall Reach in Gorleston. Their boat was named after my Granny "the Gal Effie" and their name was Burnham.

After researching my family tree my mums dad ernest holley born 1909-1947 was a herring fisherman on the yarmouth drifters as his farther was before him.

The man in the white smock, second from the right is we think Thomas Charles Casey. My wife and her sister say that's him.
