Ocean Rambler

A typical Drifter and Crew

By John Layton

Here you see the 'Ocean Rambler', a typical modern day Drifter, and its crew.

The YH at the beginning of the number on the side signifies that the boat is from Yarmouth, being the first and last letters of its port of origin.  All seagoing vessels, whatever their type or size, have this designation.

Other examples are LT (Lowestoft), GY (Grimsby), FH (Fraserburgh) and BM (Brixham).
