I believe this BBC TV outside broadcast was transmitted on 2nd July 1955 at 20:15. I can recall being on Marine Parade with my parents and seeing the TV cameras. We were outside the pool and Perry Blake did his high dive and we heard the splash. Outside the Windmill Theatre was Tommy Trinder who climbed aboard Frank Bately's Daimler car EX10.
