These two postcards were published by Jarrold & sons of Norwich and depict two scenes from the Gorleston Pageant of 1909.

Due to the age of the postcards, I am having trouble identifying any of the participants. If anyone can help in identifying these good people of Gorleston, I'd love to hear from you.

All I know is that it was a part of a nationwide event for the Church of England.

Hi Ron, apologises - on closer inspection of your postcard, it appears not to be my Grandfather, I think it is actually a woman in the picture! If you want a copy of the postcard we have of Augustus at the Pageant then let me know and I will email an image to you, Kind regards Jon

Did they do it, really??? Hmmm I thoguht it was familiar, but I have to be honest with you, I don't remember it Must be my Alzheimer's acting up again. Okay, okay, that wasn't very nice
