I have a vague recollection of being on the Richard Lee Barber once about 1948/52, I have no idea why but the memory of sitting next to the wheel is quite vivid. Have you any idea of who owned or worked on the tug during this period?

Been out on her a few times in late 50s was related to the then Skipper.

I was the last stoker on the Richard Lee Barber, Mr. Herbert King was Chief, and I was still only in my twenties when she was retired, I am now 75, I was put on the Mud Dredger after her retirement, made some good friends, all gone now.

I have a photograph of the Richard Lee Barber moving on the Yare taken by myself during a cruising holiday on our motor yacht when I was 9 years old in 1956. How times have changed!
