I believe this photograph was taken by Meader's Deneside Studio. The photos were taken by Mrs Meader and processed while the boat was on a cruise and displayed for purchase after the cruise. Printed with a Williamson Enprinter.

The Lady to Mr. Rudd's left Served Tea in the lounge. I used to help her serve some of the passengers also sold black and white photos of the boat and throw a line when leaving dock I was better at the prior two jobs than the later all I can remember is she lived in the High st in Gorleston up from Darby's Hard. The Knights were great to work for. I only worked for about 3 months with them. in 1962 I then came to the USA and have been here 48 years as I had just came back from Australia were my parents emmigrated to after the war. One of the best jobs I had on my world travels. I was just in Great Yarmouth for 3 day visit Mr Rudd told some great stories

Also in the picture is Joan Knight, who was the face that everyone remembers of the Golden Galleon. I worked with Joan and John for several years, and she also worked the Tea Room, the Bar, did the Commentary the cleaning and helped John sell tickets on the Quay. Joan was from Maidstone and John was from Leytonstone. His Mother and Father sometimes came on the trip if I remember rightly his father was also called John and he was a lovely old man. I can't recall his mother's name, she was a Tailoress and not so lovely. I spent many a (merry) hour working in the bar with Joan and one of the skippers, Tommy Edmunds. Joan came to see me before she left Great Yarmouth to go to her sons in Bromley,Kent. She died in St Christopher's Hospice. She is missed by a lot of people.
