Hi Colin, I just came across this site while looking for images of the GY roller skating show. I was in the show for 2 years around 1983/84 and it was still going strong then! If anyone has images of those later years shows please let me know. Thanks, Barry

The resident professionals who devised the 1957 Skating Cavalcade show were Ted Norton and Margaret Derbyshire.  The show featured youth on parade with the first half being a section called 'Gymnastic Revels'; Great Yarmouth Physical Culture Club and second part Skating Cavalcade 1957. The Cavalcaders: Brian and Pat Colclough, George Thompson and Janet Foot, Ron and Molly Caton, Nick Long and Joyce White, Brian Frosdick and Judy Burrell, Colin Baker and Valerie Martins, Brian Wilson and Angela Baker, Douglas Rawlings and Pat Andrews, Andrew Welsh and Pauline Newson, John Cutting and Pat Turner, Gerald Smith and Pauline Amos, Chris Johns and Diana Holt.  If any one requires a further posting with names of 'The Cavalairs' then please add comment.

I was one of the babyskades on the programme - Marilyn Stutters (rhs front row). I was only in the show for one year so it must have been 1959 when I was 12, as I moved to Luton with my parents in 1960. I remember a lot of the older members as well as the other babyskades. I brought my children to Yarmouth in the eighties and noticed Jane Gosling had become the resident professional. I would love to hear what happened to those of my age group. I even used to take Brian Wilson's dog,Boxer, for walks on the beach! I have moved back to Norwich now and would like to hear about any reunions.
