Back in the 20th century my great uncle, Backhouse Archer used to be king carnival, does anyone have any old photos or comments?  My family are the Archer's from the herring industry my late father was the last in our family to smoke and pickle herring making kippers, bloaters and reds.

My mother was Backhouse Archer's daughter. Perhaps we are connected? Would be interesting to know.

Hullo, I'm looking for a Tom Archer from the late nineteenth/early twentieth century in Yarmouth. He was a friend of one of my relatives.  Nick Hall - anything in your family papers?  A photo would be great.

Please contact me, or let me know how to contact you.
