Here is a view of the Pride of the Yare on the river bure just before the 2nd world war.
She left for Nottingham via Lowestoft to sail on the river Trent and ended her days in 1962 being scrapped.

What a surprise to see a picture of the Pride,my Father was the engineer on the Pride when it lived in Nottingham.the keel still exists in the sands where it was scraped in Radcliffe on Trent.
