Caveland opened in 1956 on the site of Pixieland, just south of Wellington Pier. Its forerunner had been open for five seasons, but alas Caveland fared worse and closed in 1957.

Does anyone remember their experience of this short-lived attraction?

Today the Model Village occupies the same site.
